====== Auto-Select First Shipping Rate ======

The following steps allow you to have the cart/checkout automatically select the first shipping rate from the options returned after a customer enters their shipping address.

  - Go to [[https://pastebin.com/raw/N2wc11wK|this]] page and copy the code you see there to your computer's clipboard.
  - Go to the "configuration" section of your Foxy store admin. [[https://admin.foxycart.com/admin.php?ThisAction=TemplateConfig|Here's a link to that area]].
  - Enable the "Add custom header and footer code to your templates" option if it isn't already, and paste the code into the "custom footer" textarea that appears within it.
  - Scroll down until you see the "Update" button and click to save.
  - Run a test by adding some of your shippable products to the cart and enter a shipping address to ensure that it works as expected.
